AN OPEN LETTER TO DELAWARE: A HOME FOR HOPE
Friends and members of our Delaware community,
Many families across our state face barriers to stability, education, and opportunity. Youth often lack safe spaces, mentorship, and access to resources that support positive growth. Families experiencing unexpected hardship frequently have limited options for immediate assistance.
The Ross-Pitts Family Foundation, Inc. was established to address these needs through charitable and educational programs that strengthen families and support long-term community well-being.
Our Mission
The Foundation operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, focusing on:

Youth mentorship and leadership development

Financial literacy and life-skills education

Emergency assistance for families in short-term crisis

Community-based programs that promote stability and opportunity
Building Sustainable Impact
As a start-up nonprofit organization, we are working to raise $50,000 by the end of 2026 to support program development, operations, and sustainability. These funds will help us:

Provide scholarships for college and trade programs

Offer micro-grants and training support for aspiring entrepreneurs

Maintain an emergency assistance fund for families

Deliver community workshops and youth programs

Secure a permanent facility to serve as a community hub
A Permanent Space for the Community
Our long-term goal includes obtaining a dedicated facility that will allow us to continue to host educational programs, mentoring, after-school activities, and community workshops, while serving as a stable base for staff, volunteers, and partners.
